In 2012 MaryKate graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology and started working in O'Dowd Veterinary as a qualified veterinary nurse.
She knew she always wanted to work with animals from a young age. Coming from a farming background, it gave her a great insight into the love and joy animals can bring to your life.
She has a keen interest in animal behaviour and nursing clinics. Her favourite part of the job is the puppy parties! Her hobbies include reading and walking her dogs Brian and Bella.
